The Hotel Show Africa 2017 brings one of the world’s leading expo brands to the continent for the first time and its three-day Vision Conference has attracted some of the biggest names in hospitality.

Delegates at the conference in Johannesburg will hear first-hand from top hotel chiefs focused on the future of African hospitality.

Guest speakers include Andrew McLachlan, Carlson Rezidor Group’s SVP of business development for Africa & Indian Ocean (pictured below, centre). In the last two years, his company has opened a new hotel in Africa every 60 days and signed a new hotel deal every 37 days. Today one of its brands, Radisson Blu, has the largest pipeline of hotel rooms in Africa.

Alexis Janoray, who is vice president development at Accor, will join panelists talking about ways to differentiate your hotel brand to attract new guests. He’s joined by Geri Wessels (pictured above left), the director of development with Hilton and Guy Stehlik, chief executive officer & founder of Bon Hotels.
