Beulah Mosupye

During her tenure as CEO of the Tourism Empowerment Council, she led the successful gazetting of the Tourism BBBEE sector code. Ms Mosupye is an accomplished leader, consummate professional and astute entrepreneur, with three decades of expertise in banking, ICT, public administration, tourism, marketing, and communications. She is Founder of the non-profit Hauweng Tourism for All Society, promoting affordable and accessible tourism. As an entrepreneur, her interests are in healthcare technology, e-commerce, tourism, sustainable energy, and training and development.
In the public service she served at executive and senior management in the tourism portfolio and represented the country at the T20 Antalya, Turkey summit in 2015. She is known for tackling complex issues incorporating cross sectoral approach for integrated solutions and strategies across various government clusters.
Beulah is a women empowerment advocate participating in various fora for the advancement of women as professionals and entrepreneurs. One of the platforms she successfully established is women in tourism that has become a regional movement. She holds a university degree in commerce, studies in law, and various certificates. Her current projects include hosting the inaugural ISTO Africa Social Tourism conference in 2023, and development on interventions to boost tourism within the BRICS community through the BRICS Women Tourism working group.
