Graham Wood
Graham matriculated from Durban High School in 1986, then went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant at the University of Natal. He furthered his studies at various academic institutions in South Africa and in the United States of America.
Graham has 24 years of experience in the Hospitality & Gaming Industry including financial, commercial, operational management and strategic leadership roles. Most notably, Graham held the positions of Director of Operations: Sun City Resort (2003 – 2007) and Divisional Director Resorts (Designate) in 2008, prior to his appointment as Managing Director of Tsogo Sun Group –
Hotels (formerly known as Southern Sun Hotels). Graham ran a successful consulting company thereafter, offering strategic hospitality and tourism consulting and asset management services to listed Property Funds, Property Landowners and developers, and inbound tour operators.
Graham was appointed Chief Operations Officer : Hospitality at Sun International in February 2020 and is currently responsible for the group’s hospitality segment, which includes marketing and sales functions for all hotels in South Africa, Vacation Club, Table Bay, Maslow Sandton, Sun City Resort, Boardwalk Wild Coast and the two properties in Africa, Nigeria and Swaziland.
Graham resides in Durban with his wife and three daughters.
