Tara Turkington is a communications entrepreneur with a passion for destination marketing and travel.

She is CEO of Flow Communications (Pty) Ltd, a marketing and digital communications company with an extensive tourism portfolio. The company has worked with clients through the value chain of tourism, including product (such as top lodges and hotels), premier attractions (including Constitution Hill, Maropeng, and the Two Oceans Aquarium), provincial tourism authorities (such as Gauteng Tourism and Northern Cape Tourism), and national tourism bodies (including South African Tourism).

Tara is the mother of four children, and is married to a school principal.

She has a Master’s degree in Journalism from the University of Montana, and holds a BA (Hons) degree from the University of Cape Town and a Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
