The 2023 Global Pizza Challenge

From its humble beginnings in 2009, the Global Pizza Challenge has developed into the planet’s biggest pizza competition as national winners are selected to compete on an international level. Now in its 14th successful year, organisers are keen to see passionate, independent pizza makers demonstrate their gastronomic masterpieces first-hand at culinary exhibitions and other venues spread across the globe.

Attention all gastronomes! Flex your culinary muscles at the much anticipated Global Pizza Challenge 2023.

With the competition now firmly entrenched on SA’s shores, organisers are keen to see passionate, independent pizza makers demonstrate their gastronomic masterpieces first-hand during the competition’s national cook-off.

The judging line-up included:  Martin Kobald, Vice President of Worldchefs and Chef Jeff Schueremans, Academy of Chefs, Chef Trevor Boyd, Group Exec Chef City Lodge Group, Chef James Khoza, Exec Chef Sandton Convention Center, and current President of SaChefs.Other judges include members of the Academy of Chefs.
