Design 11 is a branch of its mother company called Schrade Concepts. Schrade Concepts is a steel manufacturing company that designs and manufactures all kinds of things, from massive warehouses to wine racks. This is, however, the reason why Design 11 was created.

“It was created to change our focus and create a new branch that can focus on more intricate/interesting products and take over that area of product design”, says Social Media Manager, Paul Lotter.

The company designs and create unique home décor and outdoor products for anyone in South Africa and neighbouring countries. At this year’s Hotel Show Africa, the company will be showcasing laser cut steel panels, laser cut lights and custom laser cut furniture with a main focus on creating brand awareness and create leads in this particular industry.

Additionally, with this being the company’s first “hospitality” market driven expo, it hopes to see if it can tap into this market with its products.

Design 11 is a young, fun and creative company constantly pushing the boundaries in design, especially with the use of laser cutting. From practical to decorative application, its products are beautifully creative and easy to apply. The company’s passion lies in creating new and interesting products every day.

“We strive to push the limits of our laser cutting machines and  our team to create unique and creative things. We do our best to ensure that our clients get only our best quality work and services”, says Social Media Manager, Paul Lotter.

With the company having its own laser cutting machines, turnaround times are quick, never mind the nature of the product.

The Hotel Show provides a 360 degree view of the market with global exhibitors showcasing products across interiors, lighting and design, technology, security, catering equipment and more.  The hotel show brand has been proudly serving the hospitality for over 18 years, bringing innovation and new ideas to the sector.
