One of South Africa’s most exciting new lifestyle brands has chosen The Hotel Show Africa 2018 to launch a new product line specifically for the hospitality sector.

Cape Island will showcase hotel bathroom amenities, towels and soft furnishings and in room supplies including linen, gowns, slippers.

“As a new player in the industry, our aim will be to introduce ourselves to the right buyers who are looking for high end amenities & gifts,” says Suzanne Snowdowne, Director of Cape Island.

The company will also showcase its existing retail range, which is perfect for hotel shops, room and lobby décor and high-end customer gifting, says Suzanne. This includes candles, diffusers, soaps and lotions, fragranced sachets, notecards, wrapping paper, bags, glassware and a selection of screen printed and foiled cushions

Cape Island was founded in 2015 by a group of dynamic women and in three short years they have created a luxury lifestyle brand with a range of home and body products which is inspired by the wild, untamed beauty of the natural world.

“Our textiles, décor and fragrance products are designed in a distinctive and opulent style which transcends culture,” says Suzanne. Cape Island uses bold, iconic imagery to connect nostalgically to both locals and tourists alike.

She said: “What makes Cape Island unique is a strong focus on high quality natural ingredients, micro-batch production & ethical packaging. Cape Island products are kind to the environment that inspires us.”

Today the company employs a formidable team of five dynamic women – bold entrepreneurs and devoted mothers who are working together to create a legacy.

“Our vision is to empower and uplift the local workforce,” says Suzanne. “We aim to supply product which is kind to the environment. We prioritise recycling and and ethical sourcing. We are an exciting alternative to the existing amenities and gifting offerings in the industry.”
