Sustainability Facilitator, Greening, Ethical Food Activist and Climate Change Leader
Sustainability facilitator, greening specialist, climate change leader and ethical food activist, Lorraine began her journey working with the EPA in California in the 1970s.
Since leaving Southern/Tsogo Sun after 15 years as Contracts and Purchasing Manager, she has been honoured with 12 awards for her work.

Her honours include: Best Stand at Show for her 100m2, fully furnished “Living Green Home” at Decorex (twice), “Eco Green Hotel” at Hostex and “Greenstuff Eco Guest Suite” at the Inspire Decor Show | FEDHASA Imvelo Chairman’s Award for Responsible Tourism | Eskom ETA Award | Enviropaedia Eco Warrior Special Award | Top 40 Women in MICE | Women in Quality Enviro Award.

A teacher by profession, Lorraine furthered her education through the UN Environmental Programme Eco Labelling course | NCPC - National Cleaner Production | Green Building Council Design and Décor | Green Leaf Carbon Auditor | trained with Mr Al Gore (former Vice President of the USA) as a Climate Reality Leader and was twice the Chief Judge for the Dept. of Tourism’s Lilizela Imvelo Responsible Tourism Awards.

With her team, she manages two online directories (Hotelstuff.co.za and Greenstuff.co.za), consults, speaks and works throughout South Africa and as far afield as China, Italy, Ghana and Kenya.
